Demitra Alexandria Sealy

Demitra Sealy is an award- winning actor, comedian, martial artist & ghost script doctor. She is best known for her work in feature film Debt Collectors 2 (Netflix Trending Top 5), five seasons as the host of Foxtel's award-winning TV show Meraki TV, Fast & Furious 9, and her lead role in the internationally acclaimed TV series ‘First World Relationships' season 1 & 2 for Tubi TV (13 Episodes).  One of Demitra's proudest achievements is her short film Euphoria, which she not only starred in but directed, produced, DOPed and edited to the success of it becoming a finalist for 'The Horizon Award' at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.

Demitra is also co-writer and lead actor of a tongue in cheek Australian sketch comedy and improv collaboration called 'Demi & Frenchy', which in 2022 received nominations for two AACTA LMAO's. When Demitra joined in 2019 traffic increased by 700% and has continued growing it since. It has now amassed a following of over 730K subscribers on Youtube and over 4 Million across all social media platforms!

This year, Demitra was selected for the Los Angeles MENASA Showcase and as an actor for The Disruptors Fellowship. In 2020, Demitra was chosen as a finalist in Warner Brothers TV-Actors In Training World-wide Talent Search, out of "many thousands of auditions”.

In the theatre, Demitra has worked as an actor and creative for the Q Theatre, ATYP, the Hayes Theatre, KXT, Bell Shakespeare and an array independent Australian companies, as well as in multiple off-Broadway productions including the Actors Studio in New York.

A citizen of the USA, EU, New Zealand, and Australia, Demitra has visited 10 countries in the last three years for her career, soaking up all  the artistic treats along the way. She is also professional singer with over 10 years’ experience, having received the Australian Youth Choirs coveted Margaret Nisbett scholarship, and a graduate of the distinguished Upright Citizen's Brigade improv program further becoming an official intern 2019.

Demitra graduated with a Bachelor of Performance from the Australian Academy of Dramatic Arts (now AIM- DA)  and has since been inducted into their 'Alumni Hall of Fame'. In addition to her training at AIM-DA, she has trained with Playwriting Australia,  NIDA, The Capstone Group, The Bell Shakespeare Company, and the NYC Actors Studio.
