Demitra Alexandria Sealy
Demitra Sealy is an award-winning bi-lingual Greek/Hispanic/Australian, actor, voice-over artist & singer. Recent scene credits include five seasons of Foxtel's award-winning TV show Meraki TV, Fast & Furious 9 , her lead role in the internationally acclaimed series ‘First World Relationships' and action feature The Debt Collector 2, which became number 5 trending on Netflix during 2020. Her stage credits include AKIO with the Hayes Theatre, A HATFUL OF RAIN with the Actors Studio NYC, Jason Langley’s Australian premier of CHEKHOV IN HELL and the 2015 national touring season with the Kinetic Energy Theatre Company. One of Demitra's proudest achievements is her work in short film Euphoria, which she not only starred in but directed, produced and edited to the success of becoming a finalist for 'The Horizon Award' at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.
A citizen of the EU, UK, New Zealand, and Australia, Demitra is a woman of the world having visited 10 countries in the last three years for her career, soaking up all the artistic treats along the way. She is also professional singer with over 10 years’ experience, having received the Australian Youth Choirs coveted Margaret Nisbett scholarship.
Demitra graduated with a Bachelor of Performance from the Australian Academy of Dramatic Arts (now AIM- DA) and has since been inducted into their 'Alumni Hall of Fame'. In addition to her training at AIM-DA, she has trained with Playwriting Australia, NIDA, The Upright Citizens Brigade, The Capstone Group, The Bell Shakespeare Company, and the NYC Actors Studio.
